Programme

A 8 days journey that will allow you to:

  • Visit and meet local producers, the artisans of taste.
  • Discover, through a sensory experience, wine and food pairings.
  • Know and choose the raw ingredients to be used in the kitchen.
  • Learn the processing, cooking and transformation techniques in the kitchen of two starred restaurants.
  • Cook with two starred chefs: Marcello Spadone and Peppino Tinari.

Visit at Azienda Agricola Pasqualone (Penne), walking in the garden. Visit at Società Agricola De Fermo (Loreto Aprutino), among vineyards, cereals and legumes. Light lunch at the starred Restaurant “La Bandiera” (Civitella Casanova). Experience in the kitchen with Chef Marcello Spadone (and his family).  Creation of a menu, from the starter to the dessert, by using the products selected in the morning visits.

Visit at Azienda Agricola F.lli Del Proposto (Loreto Aprutino), courtyard animals and dairy products. Visita Frantoio Coletta (Civitella Casanova), olive oil tasting class and choice of olive-based products. Light lunch at the starred Restaurant “La Bandiera”. Experience in the kitchen with Chef Marcello Spadone (and his family). Creation of a menu, from the starter to the dessert, by using the products selected in the morning visits.

Sensory experience at the starred Restaurant La Bandiera: wine and food pairings and conversation with the “vignerons” (Tenuta i Fauri e De Fermo). With Alessandro Bocchetti, journalist and food and wine critic.

Activity in the kitchen: preparation of the dinner, coordinated by Chef Marcello Spadone. Dinner at the starred Restaurant “La Bandiera”, a Journey through Abruzzo cuisine.

Visit at Azienda Agricola Tommaso Masciantonio – Trappeto di Caprafico (Casoli), olive oil tasting class and choice of olive-based products (second part). Visit at Azienda Agricola Giacomo Santoleri Casino di Caprafico (Guardiagrele), cereals and legumes. Light lunch at the starred Restaurant “Villa Maiella”. Experience in the kitchen with Chef Peppino Tinari (and his family). Creation of a menu, from the starter to the dessert, by using the products selected in the morning visits.

Visit at the Farm, breeding of Abruzzo black pigs (Guardiagrele). Visit at Caseificio Alimonti (Guardiagrele), together with the dairyman. Light lunch at the starred Restaurant “Villa Maiella”. Experience in the kitchen with Chef Peppino Tinari (and his family). Creation of a menu focused on the Abruzzo black pig.
