Eight stages conceived to meet with small producers and discover local products , learn about processing techniques and cooking together with two starred chefs, Marcello Spadone and Peppino Tinari.

Restaurants

The two families, Spadone and Tinari, are united by a similar path, that of two “starred” restaurants of Abruzzo mountainous hinterland, which were born as simple local restaurants between the ’60s and ’70s.
Family-run restaurants that have been able to renew themselves from generation to generation, gain experience in prestigious Italian and international kitchens and return to Abruzzo in order to confront themselves with the local culinary culture, choose carefully only the finest ingredients, and refine the cuisine of the territory with technique, elegance and creativity.

The artisans of taste

Together with two starred chefs and the food and wine journalist Alessandro Bocchetti, who will guide us into a sensory experience of food and wine pairings, the artisans of taste from Abruzzo will be the protagonists of the 8 stages of this journey: dairymen, olive oil producers, breeders of courtyard animals such as poultry, catlle and the Abruzzo black pig, producers of legumes, cereals and vegetables, pasta makers, beekeepers and wine growers.
